Looking down the stoking hole into the firebox with stoking chute (metal tube) removed to show internals:
And with a gentle fire (when running on main roads the fire glows an intense white and fills the firebox):
The firebox (inside section) of the boiler separated out having just been re-tubed:
Looking down through the boiler as the firebox is being prepared for lifting back up inside.  At this time the superheater is removed so clearly showing the water tubes inside:
The superheater (actually an old one which has been scrapped - see Projects for the making of a new one):
