Alley and MacLellan (initially based in Glasgow, then Shrewsbury) produced approximately 6,580 Sentinel Steam Waggons between 1906 and 1951. As with much of Britain's manufacturing output at the time, these Waggons were shipped all over the world. The Super model of Waggon was produced between 1923 and 1931, with number 5676 being built in 1924.

Unfortunately no original photos have so far been found for 5676. The photo below shows number 5675 which is believed to be near identical.
